[Task and Position] [Order of Battle]
The 3rd division had the task to block the Northwestern entrance to the Central Area between the Gantrisch and the Grünenberg (incl). The main task was to block the Bern - Thun - Spiez axis in the area of the defilade of Wimmis. It allocated the tasks to its regiments as follows:
